Why I’m Running for County Commissioner, Precinct 2
I did not enter this race casually. I stepped forward because, after reviewing my opponent’s behavior during the 89th Legislation and his public record, I recognized troubling patterns, similar to the politics I witnessed in my country of origin.
I am originally from a country where constitutional principles and legal limits were gradually ignored. This led to economic collapse, loss of opportunity, and a system that pushed the country dangerously close to communism.
I watched institutions weaken, trust disappear, and everyday families pay the price.
When I became a U.S. citizen, I took an oath to support and defend the Constitution and the laws of this nation. I take that oath very seriously, because I know firsthand how fragile freedom becomes when those principles are ignored. That commitment guides every decision I make and every reason I have for stepping forward to serve.
The following findings made it impossible for me to remain on the sidelines in this race:

Legislative actions raising constitutional conflict-of-interest, resulting in over $14 million in Arlington ISD taxpayer-funded contracts granted to the private security company that my opponent continues to co-own.

Concerns about whose interests his stewardship serves: During more than a dozen visits to Austin last session, I repeatedly found my opponent’s Capitol office occupied by representatives of his largest campaign donor.

Campaign finance practices involving expenditures across different offices, including the use of county campaign political funds to pay for expenses described as state legislative office operations, such as district office logistics, legislative session lodging in Austin, and staff or support costs during special sessions. This is not about personal attacks. It is about patterns and judgment. I am running because I refuse to let our local institutions drift toward the same failures I witnessed in my country of origin. I take the rule of law, the Constitution, and responsible government very seriously.

I offer a fresh, results-driven approach—one grounded in experience, gratitude, and a deep sense of responsibility. My background in the private sector has taught me how to manage complex systems and processes, improve efficiency, and make every dollar count. I know how to bring people together, align resources, and turn good ideas into real, measurable results that make government work better for everyone.
Beyond my professional experience, I’ve spent years advocating for lower taxes and smarter, more efficient use of public funds. My understanding of state laws and taxing entities helps me pinpoint waste and protect taxpayers from unnecessary costs. This blend of private-sector know‑how, community involvement, and policy insight uniquely equips me to serve Precinct 2 with integrity, accountability, and fiscal responsibility.

This election is about protecting opportunity, trust, and the future of Precinct 2. Together, we can build a county government that works smarter, spends wisely, and keeps faith with the values that make America strong.
